John Francis Sweeney was born in a farmhouse in Bernard, Iowa, Aug. 6, 1928, and handed from this daily life immediately after numerous adventures at the age of 94. John died with his small children Mike and Karen by his side on Dec. 15, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
It was in that wood stove heated farmhouse that John was born the second of 6 children to James and Mae (Kingsley) Sweeney. His mom inspired his schooling and he trudged above snow stuffed hills to go to faculty and finally turning into an accomplished genuine estate lawyer. He attended District 8 one-place country university for 8 a long time and graduated from Loras Academy in Dubuque in 1946. He is survived by his youngsters, Patricia (Donald Kaesser) Sweeney of West Des Moines, Iowa, Mike (Natalia) Sweeney and Karen Sweeney Hanner, both of Cincinnati, Ohio and his grandchildren, Patrick Garms Mikhail, Ella, Nikolai and Konstantin Sweeney Nicole (Jake) Barnhorst, and their youngsters, Eva, Owen, Landon and Brynn and Colin (Joanna) Hanner and their kids, Maya and Lucy his brother, James (Lois) Sweeney and the spouse and children of Diane Sigler Sweeney.
He was predeceased by his wives, Ella Sweeney and Diane Sigler Sweeney siblings, Robert, Bill, Mary Clare and Ann Sweeney and grandson, Ryan Garms.
